Jaiye Kuti is in celebratory mood. The actress has taken to her Instagram page to wish her mother happy birthday.
The thespian disclosed that her mum gave birth to eleven children but they ended up being seven because of me (Abiku), according to Jaiye Kuti. She wrote:
“Happy beautiful birthday to my forever praying mother. Iya Jaiye atata, Oyinlola Ashaje. Omo Ajilala Eso, omo aji fojo gbogbo da bi Egbin. I don’t know where to start or what long story to write but to say a mother like Iya Jaiye is just one on Earth. She is a Wonder Woman.
“She gave birth to 11 children and because of me (Abiku) we are now seven. She said she wanted to have many children as She’s not sure which one will be Abiku again 😭😭😭. Then she met Christ Jesus and gave all her life. And from there and then, here we are not only that she has children….she’s a great grandmother. My mum is blessed.
“We call her Iya Jaiye.
“A word of prayer for my mum please.
Mami wa lastttttttttttttt. We love you”.
The actress also shared a video of her mother dancing. She penned;
“Iya Abiku to di Iya Abiye through Christ Jesus. My mom, my first lover. Orisha bi Iya o si. Abiamo totoo.
We call her Iya Jaiye.
“I wish for you everlasting joy and happiness . You deserve all the beautiful things in life because you’re the most wonderful Wonder Prayer warrior mother I have ever known.
“I couldn’t have been here without you Iyami atata. She raised our children. Going from one child to the other to bath our little born. She said go and pursue your dreams Jaiyeola Alake I’ll be here praying for you. Modupe Iyami. Love you forever.”
