Joe Jackson Has Been Rushed To The Hospital After Car Accident In Las Vegas, Rushed To Hospital But “He has been discharged now”
Joe Jackson has been rushed to the hospital after car accident in Las Vegas. Police told TMZ that Michael Jackson’s father “Joe was a passenger in a black Jaguar when it T-boned a red SUV.” The 88-year-old was reported to have walked into a Panda Express next to the accident scene and sat down “wincing in pain”. He was “complaining of chest pains” but was eventually taken by paramedics to a hospital in an ambulance. Mr Jackson was in the vehicle with his assistant.
Police tell PEOPLE in a statement, Jackson “was transported to University Medical Center for observation due to a complaint of injury. The at-fault driver was cited for failure to yield right of way.”
“He has been discharged now,” a family source tells PEOPLE. “He is okay. Just a little shaken up.”
Mr. Jackson was in a minor car accident, but nothing happened to him. Not a scratch and he is safe and healthy. #teamJackson

Jackson later added on his website: “Earlier today while in the car with my assistant we got involved in an accident as they drove in front of us. I got out of it without a scratch. My assistant, however, had to be taken to the emergency because the airbag in the car broke his thumb. We are leaving and going back out to enjoy our lunch at home. All is well. Thank God.”
