Showstopper: Lady Gaga Channels Judy Garland’s 1954 A Star Is Born Look
The musician turned actress is at the 2019 Golden Globes after putting great work at the latest remake of the film, A Star Is Born. For the event, Lady Gaga paid tribute to Judy Garland with the gown she rocked. The singer posed in a dramatic, lilac strapless gown designed by Valentino Haute Couture.
The stunning ball gown featured billowing off-the-shoulder sleeves and a long train. She accessorized with a stunning diamond necklace, earrings and rings. The “Shallows” hitmaker also rocked matching lavender-grayish eyeshadow with light bronzer and a nude lip. Did we even mention her platinum-and-blue hair?
According to Lady Gaga, she wasn’t even aware she had channeled Judy Garland’s lavender look in the 1954 version of A Star Is Born. When shown Garland’s look,the pop star said she ‘didn’t mean to copy her.’
