A lot of people watch Nollywood movies and think the plot of these films and the characters are real.
That’s not to say certain incidents in these movies do not happen in real life. However, the characters played by the actors whether rich or poor, wicked or kind are just make belief. It doesn’t necessarily mean it is the same in real life for the thespians.
Patience Ozokwo is known to play wicked roles but in reality, she is a born again Christian. Also, that Kanayo O. Kanayo and Yul Edochie are seen playing o ccultic roles in movies does not mean they are like that in reality.
It also doesn’t mean that they have all the money they throw around in these films in real life. In fact, there are those that have asked Edochie to show them “the way” so they too could start throwing money around.
While reacting to this, Dave Ogbeni stated clearly in an Instagram post that life life on camera is different from reality.
He wrote;
“Don’t be Deceived. Life on camera is basically different from life in reality. A word is enough for the WISE”
