There are a lot of people that you consider to be successful that are living beyond their means. They are spending more cash on things that they cannot afford and have fallen short in other aspects of living.
Of course, they will not disclose this to you as they are ‘flashing’ intentionally or not. Such people have their bank balance at zero and buy things on credit from others.
That is why you often see many Nollywood celebs being called out on social media over failure to make payments as at when due.
In a recent Instagram post, Georgina Onuoha advised that people should live within their means and be content with what they have.

‘As you Rise to life this morning, did you say thank you to whatever you believe in?
This girl smiling at you says thank you each and every moment she gets because in between those smiles and laughter she’s seen it all. Broken, hurt, struggled, pained, abandoned, betrayed and forsaken and Loved. Yet through it all, She smiles and never lets anything weigh down her spirit.
‘She smiles not because her life is perfect, not because she has no worries, fears or momentary anxieties. She smiles because she believes that as far as there is life, there is Hope. Keep a positive attitude, be thankful and gracious always. Live within your means and be content with what you have little be it or much. Seek and pursue new ideas and don’t be down casted because 9 people said “No” to you, there will always be that one Yes if you believe. And when you get that Yes.. use it wisely and don’t be quick to forget who you are or the journey so far. So always be thankful for life, for the journey and even the blessings you are yet to receive.
