Low self-esteem isn’t the same thing as humility as Onyinye Okafor correctly pointed out in a post that she shared on her Instagram page.
The popular Nollywood actress noted that the two distinct concepts should not be confused or conflated with each other. It is clear that humility involves a modest and unassuming view of one’s importance with a willingness to learn from others. On the other hand, low self-esteem is a negative evaluation of one’s own worth that can hinder one’s ability to be humble.
