Nigeria News Today Headlines: Man Destroys Properties At Nigerian Embassy In London Over Passport Delays
A 32-year-old Nigerian man identified as Ewohime Apkovweta, has reportedly caused thousands of pounds worth of damages to vehicles at the Nigeria High Commission in London.
According to Nigerians in Diaspora Commission on Twitter (@nidcom_gov), Apkovweta went to the Nigeria Embassy in London but his passport wasn’t ready. He insisted on collecting it but was told to bring his collection slip which he could not produce. It’s understood he left agigated only to return from a nearby hotel to destroy about 7 cars, some belonging to the mission, and some to guests who parked nearby. However, his attempts to destroy the High Commissioner’s car failed as it is bulletproof.
