Latest News In US: Man Stabs Wife To Death In Jackson Heights Salon Where She Worked
A woman identified as Iris Rodriguez, 35, was was fatally stabbed by her husband while she was in the Queens salon where she worked Wednesday night. She was found on the floor of Tu S’tilo Salon with multiple stab wounds to her torso around 7 p.m. Even though she was rushed to NYC Health + Hospitals/Elmhurst, she was pronounced dead.

It’s gathered that Rodriguez was working at the salon, on 37th Avenue, between 93rd and 94th Streets in Jackson Heights, when her husband came in and stabbed her multiple times, then slit his own wrists. The 39-year-old man was taken into custody at the scene with a laceration to his arm.
It’s still unclear what circumstances led to the fatal stabbing.
