Several Nollywood celebs as well as those trying to get into the industry, have accused movie producers and directors of misconduct in different forms.
They have been accused of demanding to sleep with actresses seeking roles.
In a recent Instagram post, Kanayo O. Kanayo accused these filmmakers of not adequately attending to the welfare of actors they get into contract.
They do not give them food while on set and hardly pay them their wages as agreed. Rather, the filmmakers say the movie did not do so well.
Kanayo is seen in a video eating alongside other actors who are on set with him in Abuja. He captioned:
“Many film makers pour hot coal on their heads by their misconduct in Nollywood”.
