Mariah Carey’s Star Vandalized On The Hollywood Walk Of Fame
Singer Mariah Carey’s Hollywood Walk of Fame star was vandalized on Monday. Someone drew a question mark at the end of her name but it didn’t stay that way for long as the nearly $1,500 star was already fixed as of Tuesday.
The Los Angeles Police Department is already on the hunt for the suspect for vandalism which is a felony. Sadly, this comes days after Mariah Carey announced she would be taking a break from social media following her botched live performance on Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve With Ryan Seacrest. She said:
“I’m going to take a break from media moments, social media moments,” she exclaimed in a video. “Although I’m going to fulfill my professional obligations, this is an important time for me to finally take a moment for myself and to be with my loved ones and prepare for my upcoming tour in March.”
She added, “I just want to thank everyone for their support, thank you to all my industry friends and thank you to my Lambs, you’re always there for me,” she continued. “I can’t imagine life without you and you’ll always be a part of me. I can’t wait to sing for you again.”
Such has been Mariah Carey’s poor start to the new year.
