Latest US News: Memphis Woman Punched During An Argument Run Over By Car
Memphis police say a woman identified as Laura Turner-Burton, 59, was run over by a car and killed after a man punched her during an argument and left her where she fell in an Orange Mound street. It’s gathered that the driver who hit the woman fled away from the scene which cops say happened around 2 a.m. at Park and Airways.

However, the police eventually arrested the driver who hit the woman and also detained the man who allegedly punched the woman and left her.
Burton has been charged with leaving the scene of an accident involving death.
This is an ongoing investigation.
