No fewer than 25 lives were wasted on Wednesday in a multiple auto-crash resulting when an articulated petrol tanker lost control, fell on a car and burst into flames. It is understood that school children were among those who lost their lives in the explosion which occured at about 7.30am on Wednesday at Felele, a subburb of Lokoja, Kogi State Capital.
While reacting to the tragic news, Mercy Johnson who hails from Okene in Kogi State, reacted in an Instagram post. She wrote:
“ITS REALLY A SAD TIME FOR THE PEOPLE OF KOGI STATE, MY PRAYERS GOES OUT TO EVERYONE AFFECTED BY THIS TRAGIC INCIDENT. MAY GOD HEAL US ALL.”
Meanwhile, a massive explosion has reportedly hit Ajuwon, Iju Ishaga, Lagos.
