It is no longer news that the African Democratic Congress (ADC) governorship candidate in Rivers state, Tonte Ibraye, has presented Tonto Dikeh as his running mate for the 2023 elections.
The controversial Nollywood actress announced this on Friday on social media when she tweeted;
“I thank Mr Tonte Ibraye (@TonteIbraye), the Governorship candidate for ADC, Rivers State for nominating me as his running mate.”
“We are looking at investing in social protection, creating social value system & increased women’s inclusion in governance.”
In a recent Instagram post, the movie star encouraged her millions of fans across the world to “conquer Fear and effect Change” by going going for their Permanent Voters Card (PVC). She also stated clearly that they should get busy instead of sitting at home.
The thespian turned politician also reminded everyone that important things are accomplished by those who keop on trying.
She wrote;
“Inaction Breeds Doubt and Fear. Action breeds Confidence and courage.
If you want to conquer Fear and effect Change, DO NOT SIT HOME AND THINK ABOUT IT.
Go out and Get busy
