Parents are tasked with the responsibility of teaching their kids to behave. They must try and be patient with them as it takes time. So why do parents hit their child? There are several reasons which comes down to indiscipline. There are several strategies on how to effectively correct a child without a case of child abuse coming your way. Methods like “show and tell”, “setting limits”, “giving consequences”, “hearing them out”, “leading by example” are healthy disciple strategies that work. However, one mum shared a video in which she gives lessons on how to beat your kids when they mess up.
She’s seen calling on her kids one after the other and when it came to the 17-year-old, she pounced on him using the element of surprise.
The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) says beating kids is harmful and does not work.
