In an industry full of actors wearing big name designer outfits – some original while others are fake, Jerry Williams took to his Instagram page to disclose that his goal is not to wear brands but to become one.
He backed this up by sharing a photo of himself with his own image on the crew neck (round neck t shirt) that he wore and captioned:
“The goal isn’t to wear brands but become one ……”
However, it should be noted that most fans in Nigeria prefer to see their favourite celebs rock designer outfits, drive big cars and throw money around.
The popular celebrity that fits into all of these is Davido.
However, the movie industry appears more conservative for the men as they do not necessarily have the resources to throw around unlike their female colleagues, who live like royalty.
The typical Nollywood actress is seen in private jets, designer clothes and expensive jewellery. Driving big cars and living in houses in posh areas are also what they are noted for.
