Today News In Nigeria: Ned Nwoko’s Moroccan Wife Receives His Democracy Heroes Award
Hon. Prince Ned Nwoko was recognized at the prestigious Democracy Heroes Award, held at Congress Hall, Trancorp Hilton Abuja, yesterday 16th of October 2019. The honour of “Democracy People’s Choice of the Year” was received on his behalf by his gorgeous wife, Laila.
According to Mrs. Laila Ned Nwoko, she appreciated the honourary recognition of her husband at the 7th edition of Democracy Heroes Award. She expressed joy at the award saying it will strengthen her husbands’interest in national development. Laila came on stage with Miss Philcy Anayo and Alex Nwankwo to receive the award.
Ned Nwoko’s wife further added that the award was well-deserved and timely which will enforce her husband’s devotion to human capacity building, charity and intervention aides. The of the organizing committee and Principal Partner of Mr. Olufunso Fajag, congratulated her husband for receiving the prestigious Democracy Heroes Awards.
Some of the distinguished personalities who were guests and Award Recipients, cut acoss the private and public sectors in Nigeria. They include FCT Minister of State, Dr. Ramatu Tijani, Nasarawa state Governor, HE Abdullahi Sule, Kwara state First Lady, Olufolake Abdulrazaq, FIRS Chairman, Dr. Babatunde Fowler, amongst other.
Meanwhile, we are told that few minutes after the event, Ned Nwo reacted with appreciation via a phone conversation.
