Hip Hop Entertainment News: Nicki Minaj And Kenneth Petty Fight On IG
We have all fallen in love at some point. Therefore, it’s safe to say the feeling calls for mutual respect, acceptance, trust, companionship and so much more. However, failure to reach a compromise in these could be trouble for the relationship. That brings us to Nicki Minaj and her man, Kenneth Petty. We have all seen how they show off their love on Instagram but, they had a big, public fight on the social media platform.
Minaj is well documented to have said, “I think I have what I was striving for, just happiness. It was so hard to get to a happy place. Now that I’m there I don’t want to compromise that for anyone of anything. Certain traveling things I don’t wanna do it. I’m just enjoying my downtime.”
People keep saying she is pregnant because the “Anaconda” rapper has been refusing alcoholic beverages for a while, and it’s not like her.
Anyway, Nicki and Petty had their big fight last night when the rapper went on Instagram Live to talk with her fans. She was chatting normally, but went south when she asked her boyfriend, Kenneth, to speak to her fans. Surprisingly, for people who have their love life on display on social media, Kenneth got upset. Nicki asked him to say “hi to the Barbs.” She added “They think you hate them.”
It was then Petty spoke in a very disrespectful tone, “It’s time you get off that sh*t [Instagram].” To which Nicki replied “Oh my God, you is so extra.”
This behaviour from Petty drew a reaction from fans who pleade with Nicki to dump her boyfriend.
Nicki and Kenneth are engaged, and are planning on getting married. Nicki revealed last month that the two already obtained a marriage certificate.
“We did get our marriage license,” Minaj, 36, said. “I think I have what I was striving for, just happiness. It was so hard to get to a happy place. Now that I’m there, I don’t want to compromise that for anyone or anything.”
