Pete Edochie is a legend in Nollywood. In fact when he played the role “Okonkwo” in “Things Fall Apart”, many in the industry were either lying flat on their mum’s laps and sucking milk or not even born. Despite the movie being critically acclaimed as a result of the acting skills of Edochie, a Twitter user surprisingly said he is “a really bad actor” and lacks versatility in the roles he plays. Whether this is true or not, the user known as @sugabelly, was heavily criticized for writing:

However, @sugabelly reacted promptly, “At his age and his level of acting seniority, he has the luxury and power to cherry pick his roles.
The fact that he keeps acting the same old tired chief with no personality variation whatsoever shows that he’s lazy and mostly talentless.”
Many more defended Pete Edochie’s acting skills.
