#EndSARS Protests – Rachael Okonkwo Reacts To President Buhari’s Speech
Nigerians have been reacting to President Muhammadu Buhari’s televised speech on the ongoing #EndSARS protests and the breakdown of law and order in the country.
The youths have been protesting police brutality with many Nigerians asking for Buhari to address the nation in a live broadcast.
Yesterday, October 22, President Buhari finally addressed the nation in a televised speech.
Although he addressed the international community, the youths, amongst other issues, he failed to mention the Lekki toll gate massacre.
While reacting to this on her Instagram page, Nollywood actress Rachael Okonkwo noted that Buhari has no human feelings at all. She also stated clearly that the President does not deserve to rule over Nigerians.
“Mr President you obviously don’t deserve us, I’m yet to understand your video shoot that was aired tonight. People died and still dying. No human feelings at all. God please come to our rescue,” she wrote in a post.
The thespian captioned, “God is certainly our last hope”.
