Kenneth Okonkwo is a year older today, November 6th. The popular veteran Nollywood actor has already taken to his Instagram page to wish himself happy birthday on a day he clocks 53.
He was clearly appreciative of the fact that God has provided for him abundantly as he has “never lacked”.
The thespian was also grateful for the fame and fortune the Almighty has blessed him with over the years.
Sharing a photo of himself, Okonkwo wrote;
“Happy birthday to me. Honestly, I have every reason to thank God. God has blessed me with fame and fortune. I have never lacked and with all God has given me, He has accompanied the blessings with a deep sense of contentment. Knowing God and His power of resurrection is His greatest gift to me. I thank you immensely for your prayers and love. May God bless you and celebrate you with long life”.
He also shared another powerful photo of himself and wrote;
“This 6th of November is the day that God has made and I will rejoice and be glad in it. Kindly rejoice with me and be rest assured that I love you all”.
The movie star was amongst the pioneers who started Nollywood as we know it today. He is best known for his role in the movie Living in Bondage as Andy Okeke.
Kenneth Okonkwo was born in Nsukka, Enugu State. The actor graduated with a degree in Business Administration from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka and Masters in International Law and Diplomacy from the University of Lagos, Akoka.
The living legend is married to Ifeoma Okonkwo and they are blessed with a son Kenechukwu Isaac Chukwuchirimeze Okonkwo.
However, the actor has a first son from a previous marriage.
