Latest US News: North Carolina Man Killed After Being Shot In Chest, Crashing Car Into House Identified
Police in North Carolina have identified the man who was fatally shot before crashing into an east Charlotte home Friday morning, as 29-year-old Kelvin Dunlap Jr. The incident happened around 9:12 a.m. at a home on Pinyon Lane off of Harrisburg Road.
According to the police, the man who crashed into the home, which sparked a fire, had been shot in the chest. Dunlap was pronounced dead by Medic. It’s understood he lived nearby. The police say one person was in the house at the time of the crash but was not hurt. However, the person will have to stay elsewhere until their home is repaired.
