Latest News USA: Black Man Roaming The Streets Committing Hate Crimes Against White People In Manhattan
The police in New York have arrested a black man identified as Todd Lyons, 33, for hate crimes against white people in Manhattan. A video emerged showing a shirtless man roaming the streets of the city and launching unprovoked attacks on at least four people. He also struck a 20-year-old woman from behind over the head with a brick. Police told The New York Post, ‘This woman is lucky to be alive — she could have easily been seriously injured.’
Authorities said Lyons called one of his victims a ‘f***ing honky’ in a hate spree police say started on the evening of August 9. The suspect also reportedly hit a 58-year-old man in the face during an attack in which he was said to have been told: ‘Get off the street honky, you f***king honky, you don’t belong here.’
Lyons has been charged with three counts of hate crime assault and three counts of assault.
Meanwhile, on August 16,the suspect was arrested in what police say was an unrelated incident after allegedly pulling a 25-year-old woman’s hair before pushing her to the ground. The victim was suffered bruising to her arm. Lyons was also arrested on July over an assault in the Bronx and caught for evading in 2017, police say.
