Finally, Offset Says Real Love For Cardi B Kept Their Romance Alive
It’s no longer news both rappers have ‘settled’ after their split. The secret to the couple coming back together is real love for Cardi B , according to Offset.
He revealed this to a TMZ photographer after he was quizzed on the secret to a successful relationship in the spotlight. The 27-year-old Migos rapper replied, ‘real love.’ Meanwhile Offset and Cardi B are ‘taking things slowly’ not wanting to rush into things too quickly. He said:
‘It’s been good. We’re being more open to each other, raising our baby and taking things slowly.’
It’s been revealed in the new March issue of Harper’s Bazaar, that Cardi refused to go to marriage counselling with Offset. The Bodak Yellow hitmaker explained:
‘I decided on my own. Nobody makes my decisions about my life but me. I didn’t want to go to marriage counseling.’
“I don’t want to go.” There’s no counselor or nothing that could make me change my mind.’
She also admitted though she missed having s*x with her husband during their split, she won’t be jumping back into bed with Offset just because she ‘likes s*x’ and is ‘s*xual’ – because she wants to be a ‘good example’ to her daughter. She said:
‘If you think Imma automatically hop onto you after a marriage that just means you think I’m a sleaze.
‘And I’m not. I have a kid – I have to show an example. Just because I’m out there and very s*xual doesn’t mean that I have to be w***ish.
‘I like to have s*x. That doesn’t mean I have to have it with everybody, not that I judge women who want to have sex with the world.’
