A lot of people had their faith put to the test last year. Aside having the usual personal challenges, COVID-19 shocked the world as it claimed lives indiscriminately regardless of race, status and age.
In Nigeria, fed up youths took to the streets to protest against police brutality, intimidation and bad governance.
Despite the #EndSARS protests being peaceful, men in uniform allegedly shot the youths who were seen clinging on to their flag of Nigeria which was already soaked with their own blood.
There was worldwide condemnation of the alleged shootings with even international celebrities lending their voice to the cause.
The whole drama that 2020 was vomitting, brought people closer to their families but most importantly, to The Almighty.
In a new Instagram post, Nollywood actor, Stan Nze, disclosed what he was able to experience regarding last year. The “Rattlesnake: The Ahanna Story” star wrote:
“One of the things I learnt in 2020 was to stay still and trust God. This year, I’m on repeat Tanks”.
