Junior Pope wants an end to police brutality in Nigeria and an end to the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) despite its dissolution. The Special Weapons and Tactics Team (SWAT) has taken over and is expected to fill the gaps. However, many Nigerians do not trust the new outfit as they believe it is still made up of the same officers with the same mentality.
Junior Pope took to his Instagram page to state clearly that he is not backing down on his rights to protest as he clamours for reform in Nigeria. The Nollywood actor also insists that the Nigerian child deserves a far better future than what we are experiencing today. He wrote:
