A lot of Nollywood celebs stay away from going to the markets or other places they feel ‘too big’ to go or where would actually endanger their safety due to their celebrity status.
They could get mobbed by fans, kidnapped or even harassed by thugs on the prowl for who to extort.
However, there are still those who walk freely on the streets without any fear.
In a recent Instagram post, Moyo Lawal stated clearly that she still goes to the market and pick up goods by herself.
The popular actress also disclosed that many people are left in “shock” when they see her before going on to add that she is a “confirmed market woman”.
Moyo Lawal also noted how costly things have become.
She wrote;
“Things are so expensive … meanwhile why am I still meeting people who are shocked to see me in the market or picking up goods …
“Me that is a confirmed market woman abeg you people leave me … ( and when do we stop taking pictures in the market , I am always so tired guys , please ) …. ….. …. If you see me in the market or picking goods ….. … …. Biko… please recommend new product for me jare or new place we can go … thank you
“So how was your day ? Me despite being super tired after driving to the mainland (not doing that again)… and …. …. … walking up and down in the hot sun… (it’s like today’s sun was sent to punish us I burnt black eeh) …. …. ….. I was still compelled by some evil spirit to rearrange part of my closet furnitures ..”
