Dave Ogbeni has taken to his Instagram page to criticize those who pretend to care about their friends and colleagues while they are alive. However, in reality their true character manifests during funerals and other ceremonies for the deceased.
The Nollywood actor even used the burial of the dead as example to show where fake friends show themselves. During such ceremonies, those who claim to love you are really there for the food, drinks and will walk out if they are not well fed.
He wrote;
“Only if people will have the opportunity to see how some of their friends and colleagues will walk out on their funeral cus they didn’t serve them a bottle of Beer or plate of Rice, they’ll be amazed at the manner of friends they truly had. Death truly is inevitable. Merry while you can. Good night”.
