Sam Dede is one of the most respected among senior Nollywood celebs. A lot of actors look up to him for inspiration while those who are trying to get into the Nigerian film industry also try to model/shape their ways according to his teachings.
In a recent Instagram post, Sam Dede shared some photos and asked for a reaction. He wrote:

Not long after, some of his colleagues hit the comment section of the post.

Dede was the one who taught some popular actors about acting while he lectured them at the university. Yul Edochie was one of them.
While wishing his mentor happy birthday last year, Edochie stated;
“He was my lecturer in the University of Port Harcourt, Theatre Arts Department. He taught us Acting. He laid the foundation for my successful acting career. How can you fail when you have such a Legend as your lecturer.”
Rita Dominic also learnt from the “Issakaba” star. She bumped into him at the airport recently this year. She said of Dede:
“The great Uncle Sam Dede!
Bumped into my teacher in Uni way back when earlier today at the airport. Was great seeing and reconnecting again sir. Lots of @samdedesdx”.
He once said of Rita Dominic while wishing her happy birthday;

Also on Monalisa Chinda, he wrote;
