Sometimes, little children can look like, behave or dress in a manner older than their age. I remember my grandmum cradling a baby and the way the infant looked at her, granny laughed out so loud and asked her why she always behaves so elderly. The baby never used to cry as much and behaved as though she was listening when everyone was talking.
Anyway, I just remembered this after reading the post Regina Daniels just shared on her Instagram page.
According to the Nollywood actress, her mother, Rita Daniels looked at her one day and told her that sometimes she looks like “Agadi nwanyi” which translates to “Old Woman” in Igbo language.
She wrote;
“My mom looked at me and said sometimes you look like Agadi nwanyi but most times like a child and I said that’s what I am…..your child”.
Peep the post below.
It appears this might be common amongst people from Asaba, Delta state. My mum is from Asaba although I am from Anambra state.
If you are outside this state, let us know more about this “Old Woman” description used on this baby/kid behaviour.
In other news, Regina Daniels recently disclosed on embarking on the “hardest trip ever” because she travelled without any companion for the first time in her life. She wrote:
“This is by far my hardest trip ever, having to travel all by myself for the first time in my life without no companion…no mother, no husband,no friend and of course no child.
“But business calls. I am trying to build myself into a wonderful woman that everyone will be proud of most especially my son.
“Thank you baby @princenednwoko for being so supportive and always happy to look after moon… @princemunirnwoko
“But lucky for me, my precious mother @rita.daniels06 was at the other end waiting for me. So I have a companion to share in the stress”.
