Three Men Arrested After Swedish Woman Was Gang-raped Live On Facebook
Three men have been arrested after a Swedish woman was gang raped and it was ‘live-streamed on Facebook’ in Uppsala, Sweden.
According to Independent UK, the gang rape was filmed in a closed Facebook group. It’s understood a lady identified as Josefine Lundgren, 21, saw the disturbing live stream and alerted the police.
“‘He pulled her clothes off and lay on top of her.”
Another witness who saw the disturbing gang rape livestreamed on Facebook, Lovisa, 22, says she came upon the page by accident while chatting online. She said:
“Two guys pushing down a girl on the bed… I first thought it was a poorly-orchestrated joke. But it was not.”
She also added that there were 200 people watching the video at one point before the police suddenly arrived on the scene and the video stopped, followed by sounds of commotion in the room.
The victim is recovering in the hospital while forensic scientists are currently examining the apartment.
