Finally, Usher Officially Files For Divorce From Wife Grace Miguel
Earlier on this year, Usher, 40, separated from his beautiful wife, Grace Miguel, 49. The Love In This Club crooner has made it official and filed for divorce in Georgia, according to The Blast. They had tied the knot in 2015 and announced they were separating in March, 2018.
According to the outlet, Usher is using the same attorney he used for a previous custody fight with his ex-wife. The singer used to be married to stylist Tameka Foster from 2007-2009.
Prior to their marriage, the couple were together for almost seven years. Shortly after they separated, they released a joint statement to the media.
‘After much thought and consideration we have mutually decided to separate as a couple,’ they stated at the time.
Adding: ‘We remain deeply connected, loving friends who will continue supporting each other through the next phases of our lives.’
‘The enormous amount of love and respect that we have for each other will only increase as we move forward,’ the statement concluded.
Grace used to be Usher’s longtime manager before they started their romantic relationship. They eventually got married in 2015 in a secret wedding ceremony in 2015.
