Nollywood movie producer, Chico Ejiro has died from a seizure. It is understood his tragic demise happened in the early hours of Christmas Day.
The filmmaker who was born Chico Maziakpono in Isoko, Delta State, held the record of the Nollywood director with the highest number of released movies.
Prior to his death, Ejiro claimed to have produced and directed over 85 movies in his career in the span of three decades.
According to the filmmaker who studied Agriculture in school, he was drawn into video production because Nigerians would not buy blank video cassettes.
Meanwhile, Chico Ejiro’s remains have been deposited at the morgue. It is understood that he just concluded directing his new movie on Christmas Eve.
He is married to Joy Ejiro and they have four children. The deceased was younger brother to veteran filmmaker, Zeb Ejiro.
