Mdlamfe High School Teacher Brutally Beats Pupil In South Africa, Teacher Will Be Suspended
Things are really happening oh! This time, it’s at Mdlamfe High School where a teacher brutally beat up a pupil. The incident caused major outrage in South Africa with the The KwaZulu-Natal Department of Education, promising to suspend the teacher.
In the viral clip, the teacher is seen beating a pupil with a cane while the rest of the class watched and sometimes, laughed. Eventually, he shifts attention towards another pupil standing by the door and starts to hit her. She then pushes the teacher and it was at this point, he started beating her repeatedly with the cane. Despite her screams and cries, the teacher kept beating the students.
“The educator from Mdlamfe High School that is seen in a video brutally beating a learner will receive a suspension letter tomorrow,” the department said on Twitter.
“We will be taking harsh action against the perpetrator. We want to send a clear message that corporal punishment will not be tolerated in our schools and learning facilities,” KZN education department spokesperson Kwazi Mthethwa told TimesLIVE.
