Freddie Leonard has less hope to call Nigeria home as long as its leaders continue to render social justice, civil rights and good governance less important.
The Nollywood actor stated this in an Instagram post following the #EndSARS protests, the Lekki Toll Gate Massacre and the ongoing looting across the country.
According to Leonard, Nigerians can never find their own country to be “home” unless government begins to take responsibility. He wrote:
“As Long As Social Justice, Civil Rights And Good Governance is TRIVIALISED by the LEADERSHIP of the Country Called NIGERIA.. We have No Place to Call Home.”
