Nigerians will not forget the night of 20 October, 2020 when at about 6:50 p.m, men in uniform assigned with the main responsibility for the security of each citizen and the whole nation, allegedly shot and killed innocent #EndSARS protesters holding on to the country’s flag.
Since then, a lot of celebrities have been urging Nigerians to take politics more seriously to put an end to police brutality and bad governance in Nigeria.
On her part, Ini Edo stated clearly in her latest Instagram post that the Lekki Massacre where innocent citizens were “slaughtered” will never be forgotten.
She wrote;
“Two weeks since the lekki massacre where our innocent brothers and sisters were slaughtered for asking for a decent living .We will never forget what this system has done to us,we will never stay down,we will keep speaking up and you cannot shut us down.
“May our fallen heroes find solace in the bosom of our Lord Jesus”.
