Chiege Alisigwe has taken to her Instagram page to let her fans across the world know that it is not possible to accurately understand someone’s life or mental state just by viewing their online presence.
A lot of people do not reveal their actual life on social media. So many people prefer to either fake it or present an idealized version of themselves.
You must have noted that people often choose to only share positive or happy moments in their lives and may not disclose personal struggles, challenges or difficulties they are facing.
In other words, Chiege Alisigwe wants people to understand that while a person’s social media profile may appear to be perfect and happy, there may be underlying issues or challenges they are facing that are not evident from their online presence.
According to the Nollywood actress, everyone has a different journey and as such, need to appreciate even the little things they are able to accomplish for themselves.
She wrote;
