It is no longer news that Burna Boy picked up the Best Global Music Album award for ‘Twice as Tall’ at the 63rd Annual GRAMMY Awards Premiere Ceremony. However, he was not the only one who made Africa proud as another Nigerian superstar, Wizkid, also won the Best Music Video for his collaboration with US singer Beyonce on ‘Brown Skin Girl’.
While reacting to this, Sean “Diddy” Combs who executive produced Burna Boy’s album Twice As Tall, sent a congratulatory message to the Nigerian singer whose real name Damini Ogulu via his Instagram page. He wrote:
“YOU DID IT KING!!!!!!!!! @BURNABOYGRAM #TWICEASTALL ✊🏿”
If you recall, Burna had missed out to veteran Beninese singer, Angelique Kidjo at the 2020 awards for what he just won.
