Popular Nollywood actor Frederick Leonard recently took to his Facebook page to share his thoughts on the importance of being yourself and living your life according to your own values and beliefs.
According to the “Grey” actor, the world is constantly trying to mold you into what it wants, but the problem is that the world does not even know what it wants. The movie star also urged his fans not to become victims of the world’s confusion but to remember that what matters most is what God thinks of them. He said that God sees them from the inside, while the world only sees what they show on the outside.
Not done, the Film lord, as he is fondly called, advised his adoring fans to do all that they can to be emotionally mature to a point where they understand that the world only gossips about those whom they admire and see ahead of them. Leonard also noted that people see and talk about those ahead of them but do not even notice those that are behind.
The Nollywood actor ended by urging his fans to pray for those who constantly gossip and talk about others.
He wrote:
“Your first responsibility to yourself in life is to be yourself and live your life how you sincerely feel and understand it.
The world is on a constant mission to twist you into what it wants, but there’s a problem.
THE WORLD DOES NOT EVEN KNOW WHAT IT WANTS.
Will you then become a victim of the world’s confusion?
Remember: it is what God thinks of you that matters because HE alone sees you from the inside, while the world only sees what you show on the outside.
You must emotionally mature to a point where you understand that the world only gossips about those they admire and see ahead of them. Yes, because you are in front, so they see you and talk about you. Think of how many prominent people around you who don’t even talk about you; that’s because they don’t see you, you are behind them.
When you finally see people who constantly gossip and talk about you, the only thing their condition makes you want to do is PRAY FOR THEM.
PLEASE PRAY FOR THEM.”
