Latest Naija Music: Zlatan Ibile “Next Rated” Award Nomination Alongside Rema, Lyta, Fireboy And Co
Nigeria’s biggest and most prestigious music award show, The Headies, opened its doors to receive entries for its 13th music award on September 21, 2019. This year’s edition is themed ‘The Power of A Dream’. Meanwhile, the year in review was announced as January 2018 and June 2019. One of the Nigerian musicians who has been nominated is Zlatan Ibile and he faces fierce challenge from the likes of Rema, Joeboy, Fireboy DML, Victor AD and Lyta in the NEXT RATED category. While reacting to this, Zlatan wrote in an Instagram post:
“We fit they the same School! Mago Our Department no be the same O ! #KELEGBEMOEGBE O Ayiiiiii”.
Zlatan whose real name is Omoniyi Temidayo Raphael, was also nominated in the BEST COLLABO for music with Burna Boy ‘Killin’ Dem, SONG OF THE YEAR for the track ‘Leg work’ is one of the Nigerian rappers making tremendous impact in the rap game with his unique flow.
