Nollywood Star Ramsey Nouah Says It Was Challenging Playing The Role Of A Woman
It’s safe to say the Nollywood actor has graced our screens for many years and delivered. However, Ramsey Nouah says it was challenging playing the role of a woman in the movie My Wife and I in which he starred alongside Omoni Oboli.
In the movie, My Wife and I, Ramsey Nouah plays the role of a man who suddenly found himself in his wife’s body, while his wife, Omoni Oboli, woke up in his body. This transfiguration was to help them understand the importance of each other having been on the brink of divorce. While describing his experience playing the role, Ramsey said:
“I actually like to take on unusual roles that would task my creativity. So when I was approached about this movie, I saw it as a welcome opportunity. It was quite challenging but I’m happy that at the end of the day, I was able to deliver what was needed. However, the audience would be the true judges of my performance in the movie.”
On the chemistry between him and his co-star, Oboli, he said:
“It was a wonderful time working with Omoni. We’ve worked together before and I know she’s a professional. We bonded well.”
