Adunni was born in Queens, New York, United States. Her mother got married to a Yoruba man. The Nollywood star was raised in Nigeria and the United States where she relocated to for her degree in accounting at the University of Kentucky in 2008. However, she had her elementary schooling in Lagos and Ogun states.
On her return to Nigeria in 2013, Adunni made her acting debut in the movie Iwo Tabi Emi by Saidi Balogun. She is blessed with two sons, D’Marion and Ayden.
