Georgina Onuoha is straightforward and has no time to impress others. The outspoken US-based Nollywood actress, stated clearly in her most recent Instagram post that she prefers to be true to herself despite the chances of incurring the ridicule of others.
She wrote;
“I prefer to be true to myself, even at the hazard of incurring the ridicule of others, rather than to be false and incur my own abhorrence.
Living with integrity means: Not settling for less than what you know you deserve in your relationships. Asking for what you want and need from others. Speaking your truth, even though it might create conflict or tension. Behaving in ways that are in harmony with your values. Making choices based on what you believe and not what others believe.
If it is not right, do not do it; if it is not true, do not say it. For Integrity is doing the right thing when nobody’s watching and doing as you say you would.
Integrity and character make a man.
Mental wellbeing, family, peace, self-respect, values, character, integrity, love, respect, children, and sound judgment should not be slaughtered on the altar of fame and fortune.”
