Chris Darden’s Daughter Thinks Her Dad Is Bringing Back Memories Of O. J. Simpson
Jenee Darden says her father defending Eric Holder, 29, the suspect in the murder of Nipsey Hussle, is bringing back memories of O. J. Simpson’s trial. Chris Darden was assigned to the prosecution of the American former running back after he was accused of killing his ex-wife, Nicole Brown Simpson, and her friend Ron Goldman in June 12, 1994.
Nipsey Hussle’s fans aren’t happy with Chris Darden and are targeting his family over his decision to defend the rap star’s killers. Last week, the “Last Time That I Checc’d” rapper was shot and killed in the parking lot of The Marathon Clothing store after he reportedly called Holder a “snitch”. Eric Holder’s bail was set at $7 million and many including rappers, are shocked to see Darden represent Holder. In fact, Meek Mill branded him a “house nigger”.
While reacting to the intense backlash, Jenee Darden who is supporting Nipsey but still being harassed by his fans, claims she had no idea her dad was going to defend Holder.
“I’ve been receiving vile comments and messages since news broke that my father, Chris Darden, is the defense attorney for the man accused of killing Nipsey Hussle.”
“Like many of you, I found out about my father’s involvement in the case while scrolling through social media. I was not prepared for this backlash that has triggered bad memories from the O.J. Simpson Trial. My father is a grown man and has been a defense attorney for some time. I have no say in the cases he takes on.”
