Current News Headlines: Colorado Springs Police Officer Fatally Shoots Man
This is the fatal shooting by the Colorado Springs police officers of a man in April while investigating a reported assault. It’s understood they were responding to a “disturbance”. They arrived to see smoke coming out of the man’s apartment while the suspect was brandishing a weapon and moving toward the officers when he was shot, according to the police. The shooting happened in the 2500 block of Hancock Expressway.

Even though the suspect was taken to a local hospital, he died of gunshot wounds sustained.
The Colorado Springs police officers will not face charges in the fatal shooting.
