Omoni Oboli Writes Mercy Aigbe Emotional Letter As She Makes Her WCW
Mercy Aigbe woke up today, September 10, to an emotional open letter her colleague Omoni Oboli wrote on her Instagram page.
The message recognizes Aigbe as someone who has “gone through hell and high water” but the actress survived. Omoni Oboli also recalls how her colleague also suffered domestic violence and her struggles as a single parent.
Omoni Oboli wrote while making Mercy Aigbe her Woman Crush Wednesday (WCW);
“Dear Mercy @realmercyaigbe
I just want you to know that I see you!
I see how you’ve gone through hell and high water and you’ve come out on top!
I see how you survived domestic violence and stand today as hope to millions of women going through gender based violence.
I see you struggle as a single parent to give your kids the best in life!
I see you juggle your many hustles, doing it all in high heels and slaying!
I see you get judged and ridiculed sometimes but you shove it all aside like a boss chic and keep on stepping!
I see you woman! Mother! Actor! Business mogul!
I just want you to know that you are ENOUGH! I see you, we see you. I love you…we love you. Keep shining like the star that you are #WCW #CelebratingTheLiving #ISeeYou”.
It was the next morning (today) that Aigbe woke up to see the message which left her emotional even as she replied it.
She wrote:
“Woke up to your post sis @omonioboli and it got me so so emotional, God bless your beautiful heart …. Thank you sis, thank you! Thank you for the encouragement 🙏 thank you ! It meant a lot to me! Infact I am just so Emotional right now! Guys pls go to go to her page to say thank you for me! @omonioboli love you “.
