Idris Elba Covers Essence Magazine August Issue — “Am I ever gonna get remarried? I don’t think so”
Idris Elba Covers Essence Magazine August issue but he’s breaking a lot of ladies heart. The 44-year-old disclosed he will never get get married again. The actor who went shirtless in a photo shoot, said:
“Am I ever gonna get remarried? I don’t think so,” Elba tells the magazine. “Yeah, I don’t think so. Marriage is an institution of sorts. And I’ve done it. It’s not for everybody. It’s not my life’s calling.”
The Beasts of No Nation star was married to makeup artist Hanne Norgaard from 1999 to 2003. A 15-year-old daughter, Isan, came out of that relationship. Idris Elba then married Sonya Nicole Hamlin in 2006 but they separated after six weeks.
Apart from his daughter, Isan, Idris Elba is blessed with a 2-year-old son, Winston, with ex-girlfriend Naiyana Garth.
