Current News Headlines: Man Forces Himself On Woman In Brooklyn Park After She Rejects His Advances
The police are trying to track down a man accused of r*ping a woman in a Brooklyn park early Saturday. It’s gathered that the woman was walking home around 3 a.m., near the intersection of Pennsylvania Avenue and Linden Blvd. in East New York, when an unknown man approached and tried to start a conversation.
However, the woman rejected the man’s advances and attempted to get away from him. However, the suspect followed the 26-year-old woman into nearby Linden Park. That’s when the man raped the woman, before fleeing in an unknown direction, police said.
The victim was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Meanwhile, the NYPD has released a surveillance footage of a man wanted in connection with the rape.
