The nature of an actor’s job keeps him/her away from the family for long periods which could even stretch into months depending on the project. So they miss home a lot as well as their loved ones.
It gets more difficult if children are involved because they miss their parent(s) a lot. Sometimes, the kids get really emotional when they reunite with them and do not know how to react.
In a recent post, Yvonne Jegede disclosed that her son Xavier Jegede-Fawole acts like a baby when she is around.
According to the Nollywood actress, she had been away for three weeks without seeing her son but had to use her only day off work to meet her “heartbeat”.
She wrote;
“After 3weeks I get to see my heartbeat 💗 💓.
See how this boy acts like a baby when I am around. Moments like this are all I need to boost my energy. The only day I have off work and I am enjoying every bit with my Oga @xavierjegede_f”
