The ‘Anaconda’ rapper posted a footage on Instagram in which she was interacting with some of her Chinese fans. She seized the opportunity to dish out on her tattoo significance. Thankfully, Nicki Minaj has finally revealed what her Chinese tattoo means.
Minaj while sitting down in the backseat of her ride, asks some girls what country they’re from. They tell her China. Young Money‘s Nicki Minaj then tells the girls, “My tattoo is Chinese!” She then added, “Do you know how to read it?”
One of the Chinese fans then says, its special meaning: “It means God will be with you.”
While confirming her tattoo’s significance in the video’s caption on Instagram, Nicki Minaj points out that there’s always been speculation as to what those symbols mean.
“[People] always ask me what my Chinese tattoo means,” she wrote. “#GodIsWithMeAlways, on my way to shoot the [“Light My Body Up”] video a few weeks ago…inches on floor level.”
