LizzyGold Onuwaje has learnt the hard way that the internet can get really cruel. The Nollywood actress will now realize that not all her 641k followers on Instagram wish her well.
The thespian shared some photos just before going to bed last night, January 25th. Unfortunately, by the time she woke up, her comment section had been taken over by trolls who mocked the actress for wearing “two in one clothes” and flaunting a “cheap bag”.
According to LizzyGold, she would have ignored all the hate but decided to address this because “this is not the first time girls rant on my page”.
“So I posted a pic of me yersterday and slept off woke up to see comments on my wall of people,s different opinions.. someone even said my bag is cheap that it’s 2000 naira😂😂 normally I won’t address this but this is not the first time girls rant on my page so lemme quickly drop this here..
“First of all it’s is my money and I will buy what I like even if it’s 500 naira.. i work hard for my money….😀😀😀
“Secondly I love two in one clothes ..if it doesn’t appeal to you ,it does to me….swipe to see someone else wearing same outfit🙄
“Thirdly if it’s annoying you that my clothes are not expensive pls send me money oooooo Or buy me expensive bags and clothes and send to me😢 I don’t have pride I will gladly collect it….If you don’t like my dress sense please unfollow and follow people who dress well….drops 🎤…”
Her colleagues reacted in numbers with Empress Njamah writing: “2021 people never still get sense ,if you no wear you are cheap,if you wear your sleeping with rich men,Omo lock up, block negative comments and people, stay happy BE YOU,love yourself LOVE GOD MORE,daz all that matters ,love you girlee”
Nkechi Blessing: “Maybe you for enter studio snap am like the second slide…human beings with their stupidity 😤🤦🏻♀️”
However, not all fans were impressed with the way LizzyGold’s reaction .
